That was quoted from David Harding, a 51-year old father of three who spent £700 a year just for his sausages. Despite spending almost £2000 for hypnotherapy and professional counselling, Harding, who also a special freezer in his home to store his favorite bangers, McWhinney’s Irish pork sausages, couldn’t seem to get hold of this addiction.

Eating dirt (also known as geophagy) apparently falls into a category of disorder which is known as pica. Those who are suffering from pica usually has an appetite that involves non-nutritive elements such as paper, soil, glass or sand. Brea, who was 19 year old when she was interviewed by a popular American TV network confessed that she dipped her tortillas chips into sand and sand is like a ‘seasoning’ to her everyday food.

A survey that was conducted by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons in 2008 showed an increase of people choosing cosmetic surgeries and it seems that what was once a trend in the US had shifted to Asia and mainly in South Korea. In 2011 the South Korean Education Ministry issued a booklet to warn Korean high school students of the ‘plastic surgery syndrome’, citing Michael Jackson and a local woman whose addiction to plastic surgery backfired on her, leaving her with a grotesquely swollen face.

It is quite funny since there is practically no one else in this planet who uses Blackberry anymore but apparently back in the days where Blackberry smartphones were one leading smartphone brands, there were people who suffered from ‘Crackberry’ addiction, where they constantly hear a ‘phantom ring’ or vibration that causes them to check their emails on their Blackberry every time.

What could be better than starting off your day by switching on the radio for the morning news, not for any ordinary news but rather news of people who died so that you can attend their funeral? The 51-year old Brazilian man from Batatais seemed to have attended every funeral in his town that the people are already accustomed to him coming to funerals would actually feel disappointed if he stop coming.
